She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Marion and Leona Nied (Denisar); and her brother Gerald Nied. She is survived by: her husband Terry Balding; and her children, Sherrie Harper (Marc) of Champaign, Lori Lyons (Dan) of New Auburn and Shawn Balding (Carmen) of Brookfield, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many other family members and friends.

The family would prefer memorials be given to Cornerstone Christian Church.
