He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clayton Beckman and Margaret Beckman. He is survived by: his wife Luanne Beckman of Eau Claire, WI; his daughters, Sue Booth of Ann Arbor, MI and Linda Beckman of Bellingham, WA; his grandson Corey Booth of Ann Arbor, MI; and his nibling Bruiser. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In addition to the many involvements he had at the University, Dick served on the Board of Directors of Luther Park Bible Camp, served on the Board of Directors for Grace Lutheran Foundation; and volunteered for National Lutheran Youth Conventions.
