Richard Haas Obituary
Richard Haas, 62, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 14th 2019. Richard was born on September 26th 1956 to Raymond and Beatrice Haas. He served in the Air Force from February 1974 to April of 1977 as a heating and cooling technician, and graduated from a technical program in that specialty. In 1991 he moved to Eau Claire where he worked at several trucking companies based out of Wisconsin and Minnesota over the years.
He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, going to the drum corp shows, DIY projects, and of course watching the Green Bay Packers with his family. Richard is survived by his wife Sharon Haas; children Margaret (Tim) Haas, Anthony Haas, Jeffrey Haas, Lena (CJ) Mavis, Adam Roycraft, and Keith Stendahl; brothers Steven (Patricia) Haas, Tim (Carolyn) Haas, Thomas Haas, Michael Haas, and Robert (Kelly) Haas; sisters Mary Jane (Charles) Stoffel, Edie (Louis) Gorenc, and Carol (Gary) Puder; many grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Beatrice Haas and sister Elizabeth Haas. He will be laid to rest at Northern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner at a later date with a private family service.
