He was predeceased by: his mother Waneta Straw (Minegar); his brother Michael Straw; and his grandson Cody. He is survived by: his father Richard Sr. Straw; his wife Lynne Straw (Duerkop); his children, Shane Straw Sr. (Carrie), Rick Leland (Angie), Nicole Krol (Greg), Matt Straw and Holly Wegner (Jed); and his sister Liz Straw. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
