He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgos Giannakopoulos and Caliope Giannakopoulos; his brother Dimitrios; and his brother-in-law Ronald Gullicksrud. He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Virginia Gullicksrud); his children, Michel (Angela), Stephane Yannakopoulos (Manon) and Sophie Yannakopoulos; his brothers, Yannis (Fani) and Panayotis Giannakopoulos (Aimilia); his siblings-in-law, Pierrette Yannakopoulos, John Gullicksrud (Ronetta) and Jennifer Gullicksrud; and his friend Franklin. He is also survived by two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
