In loving memory of Sherman Deetz of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who departed this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Sherman leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Deetz and Lois Deetz; his wife Judith Johnson; his daughter Heidi Deetz; the mother of his children Judith; and his brother Verle Deetz (Susan).
He is survived by: his children, Robert, Tami Monson (Tony), Jon (Julie), Jerry and Terry (Lisa); his brother Bruce (Arlene); and his stepchildren, Wayne Helland (Jennifer Cahak), Barb Glenz and Rebekah Larson (Michael). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel (535 S Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona, WI 54720). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
