He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Smith and Gwendolyn Smith; his wife Janice Holtze; and his brother Rodger Smith of South Carolina. He is survived by: his children, Jenny, Ben and Jeremiah (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sophia and Cooper; his sisters, Gail Mumm (Jim) of LaCrosse and Taia Frohman (Dave) of Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Holtze and Jean Wilcott (Wayne) of TX. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
