He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Martha; his brothers, William and Douglas; and his granddaughter Vanessa.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Larson (Bates); his children, T. Howard (Loann), Wayne, Carolyn, Jacqueline and Linda; his grandchildren, Dirk, Branden, Hunter and Jazlin; and his siblings, Arnold, Ethel, Geraldine, Francis and Patricia. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the L.E. Phillips Senior Center, which he enjoyed visiting.
