It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valeria E. Ahneman of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Johnson and Ruth Johnson (Patterson); her husband James Ahneman; her daughter Kim Bauer (Mike); her siblings, George, Robert, Leslie, Harold, John Gilbertson, Charles Johnson, Joanne Knutson and Janet Forster; and her grandson Randy Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Sanders (Dave) of Chippewa Falls and Craig Ahneman (Georgette) of Ottawa, KS; her sister Susan Barquist; her granddaughters, Laurie King (Dan), Angela Miller, Amy Bell, Brittny Harms (Chris) and Elizabeth Ahneman (Dylan); and her great grandchildren, Makenna, Collin, Caiden, Serenity, Nora, Elowen and Emree. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (1120 Cedar St, Eau Claire, WI 54703).
