He is survived by: his wife Linda Flug; his children, Joe Statz (Sandra) of Eau Claire, Jeff Statz (Carmen) of Eau Claire and Julie Danda (Mark) of Foley, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Douglas Statz of Orlando, FL, Ryan Statz of Eau Claire, Kyle Danda of Pierre, SD, Meagan Danda of Foley, MN and Kelsey Danda of Foley, MN; and his brothers, Vince and Ralph.
