He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin M. Johnson and Maude Johnson (Barney); and his siblings, Lester (Ruth Briggs), Elaine (Richard Johnson) and Edna (Robert Hagstrom).
He is survived by: his wife Faith Ann; his children, Belinda (John Harrison) of Vernon Hills, Thomas (Jill) of Wayzata, Gregg (Julie) of Eagle River and Brian (Susan) of Folsom, California; his grandchildren, Julie, Laura, Martin, Kelly, Sarah, Bradd, Amy, Steven and Keri; his great grandchildren, Hayley, Nathan, Tenley, Isaac and Kaylin; and his great great grandchild Sofia.
