She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Newton and Maude Newton; her former husband Chester Quale; her husband Thane Joos; and her son Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Joos (Patricia) of Waupaca, Susan Petkovsek (Ray) of Madison, David Joos (Sue) of Janesville and Karen Joos of Sparta, Wisconsin.; her grandchildren, Rory, Rhonda, Patrick, Rodd, Cheryl, Kimberly, Brian, Roger, Michael and Jeffery; and her pet Sam. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
