Inez J. Halvorson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Inez J. Halvorson of Edgar, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Cattanach and Freda Cattanach (Knapton); her husband Irving Halvorson; and her brothers, Wayne, Lyle, Craig and Dale Cattanach.
She is survived by: her children, Tania Alme (Allan) of Baldwin, WI, Nanci Schillinger (Dan) of Edgar, WI and Kevin Halvorson (Denise) of Conroy, TX.; her grandchildren, MariAnn Frie (Matthew), Erik McCarthy, Joshua (Hannah) and Hannah Alme; her stepgrandchildren, Clarissa Brown (Allen), Chad Schillinger (Manilath), Christopher Schillinger and Josh Lesniak (Amy); her great grandchildren, Emma, Sam Frie and Scarlett Alme; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Savannah Worley, Ainsley Brown, Nari, Emi, McKenna, Ellieonna Schillinger, Carter, Elyse Lesniak and Everett Shafer; and her sister Margaret Piguet of Auburndale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be made to the Rural Bible Crusade of Marshfield, WI.
