With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven Stanley Soczka of Edgar, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Soczka and Julia Soczka (Serafin); his in-laws, Clarence and Darlene Wendtland; his brothers, David and Carl Soczka; his sisters-in-law, Gail Wendtland and Faith Ann Soczka; and his nephews, Scott Soczka, Michael and Richard Wendtland.

He is survived by: his stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah Steidinger and Amanda Steidinger; his siblings, Theresa Bornheimer, Victor Soczka (Dawn), Alois Soczka Jr. (Jill), Henry Soczka, Annie Mae Kingston (Pete) and John Soczka (Irene); his in-laws, James Wendtland, Larry Wendtland (Janice), Lois Maldonis (Ron), Gary Wendtland (Val) and Gale Waddle (Wayne); Janice (Wendtland), Kelly Steidinger (Bruce) and Amanda Altmann (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Steve received a National Honorary FFA Degree in 2018 from the Edgar FFA for making long-term contributions to agricultural education.
