She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Johnson and Mary Johnson (Mathison); her husband Jim; and her siblings, Ralph, Elwood, William, Donald, Ruth Lintvedt, Gladys Wileman, Anna Ylvisaker and Esther Anderson.

She is survived by: her close friend Lester Haakenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Lutheran Church of to the 210 Fulton Street Veterans Housing Project.
