He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Peterson and Margaret Peterson (Adams); his wife Sharon; his brother Marvin; his siblings-in-law, Kea, Bill Banta, DaLee Applebee and Don McEvilly; and his great grandchild Irena.
He is survived by: his children, Paul and Allison Bancker (Karl); his grandchildren, Paige, Benjamin and Preston Peterson; his children, Blaine, Max (Hannah), Chloe Govin (Drew) and Ella Bancker; his grandchild Beckett Govin; his siblings, Pauline Banta, Phylis Applebee, Sandy Knotwell, Jim (Toni) and Doug (Dolores); and his sister-in-law Mary Porter (Doug). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Albrecht Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1004 S Main St, Edgerton, WI 53534). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gerry's name to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin, 4700 S County Rd G, Janesville, WI 53546.
