He is survived by: his children, Terri Matelski (Duane), Mary Barrett, Bill Barrett (Vicky), Gary Barrett, Wayne Barrett (Julie), Colleen Reilly (Jerome) and Karen Ziegeweid (Stephen); his grandchildren, Chris, Nick (Kaitlyn) and Matt Barrett; his children, Sam Matelski, Codey, Emily Barrett (Ramon), James, Jack, Kealey and Kennedy Ziegeweid; his sister Rose Hatlen; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Prudhomme (Dave).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Fran's name to the Edgerton Lions Club and Badger Honor Flight.
