He was predeceased by: his parents, William McGuire and Margaret "Maggie" McGuire (McCaslin); his wife Marianne Johnson; his grandson Michael McGuire; his great grandchild Graham Wileman; and his siblings, Margaret, Kathryn, Rita, Tom, Theresa, Elizabeth, William and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Lorenda Cedars (William), Rocklan "Rocky" McGuire (Shelly), Robert McGuire (Tammy), Robyn Schmeling (Jamie) and Marianne Wileman (Kurt); his grandchildren, David Cedars (Kristi), Kristin Wiza (Charlie), Amy Langer (Mark), Dan McGuire (Dani), James McGuire (Haley), Matthew McGuire (Bre), Marty McGuire (Brittany), Casey Schmeling (Kari), Cullen Schmeling (Kacie), Carlie Donstad (Chase), Travis Wileman (Tierney), Traci Eliszewski (Andrew) and Tori Mades (Austin); and his brothers, L. Patrick McGuire and John McGuire. He is also survived by 33 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Apfel-Ehlert Funeral Home (315 Lord St, Edgerton, WI 53534). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (590 S St Joseph's Cir, Edgerton, WI 53534).
