He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Nelson; his daughter Katie Nelson; and his sister Tanya Stanek. He is survived by: his mother Chyrl Nelson (Ylvisaker) of Edgerton; his children, Zach Nelson of Edgerton and Abby Byrne (Michael) of Queen Creek, AZ; his sister Carrie Nelson of Edgerton; and his niece Emily. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
