He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Edward Dresselhuys and Mary Violet Croal Dresselhuys; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Caroline, Eleanor, Margaret, Audrey, Natalie and Bryn.

He is survived by: his siblings, Edward, George, Richard and Annrita; his children, Anne Alix (Michael), Eric Dresselhuys (Melissa) and Christopher Dresselhuys (Lisa); and his significant other Heather Waldorf.
