He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Schlichter and Dorothy Schlichter (Parker); and his siblings, Elizabeth Petterson (Harold "Pete") and Gary Schlichter (Jane). He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his daughters, Erika Schlichter (Mark Mannebach) of DeKalb, IL and Kathryn "Katie" Naftzger (David) of Highland Park, IL; his grandsons, Samuel and Joseph Naftzger; and his brother Martin "Bo" Schlichter (Phyllis) of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
