He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Block and Mildred Block (Pukall); his spouse Arla Jacobson; and his nephew Nels Jacobson. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Young (John), Jean Jacobson (David Nelson), Alan Jacobson, James Jacobson (Jane), Charles Jacobson, John Jacobson (Lynn) and Glenn Jacobson (Karen); his cousins, Wayne Block (Linda), Jim Block, David Block (Karla), Dan Block (Lisa) and Matt Block (Susan); and his siblings' children, Nathan Jacobson (Audrey), Jared Jacobson, Matt Jacobson, Leah Centanne (Mike), Jessica McGauley-Jacobson (Ivan Welander), John McGauley-Jacobson, Angela Bembenek (Justin), Hanna Van Den (Paul) and Carly Nelson (Zach Holden).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (W18205 W College Ave, Wittenberg, WI 54499). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
