He is survived by: his wife Carlene Benson; his children, Brad Schultz (Nicole) of Eleva, Chad Schultz (Mindy) of Holmen, Kevin Schultz (Sarah) of Eleva, Jason Schultz of Eleva and Kimberly Paduano (Nicholas) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Megan (Jason) of Colfax, Madison of Eleva, Bailey (Annabelle) of Holmen, Carson (Molly) of La Crosse, Lydia of Davenport, Griffin of Holmen, Caprise, Avva and Tieo of Eleva; his great grandchildren, Kane, Kayden of Colfax and Maren of La Crosse; his siblings, Bonita Okerglicki of Stanley, Allen Schultz (LaDonna) of Eau Claire, Dianne Nichols of Eleva, Carmen Holmen (Carl) of Osseo and Randy Schultz of Eau Claire; and his sister-in-law Kay Schultz of Verona.

Memorials preferred and will be used to plant a memorial tree with a bench along side over looking the farm, where Duane will be laid to rest.
