He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Mercer and Eva Mercer (Garfield); his wife Karen Everson; his grandson Gregory Engen; and his siblings, Clark, Walter, Eldon, Leroy, Fern, Alberta, Arlene and Donald.
He is survived by: his children, Kurt Mercer (Catherine) of Cadott, Christine Mercer of Edgar, Kaylene Mercer (Eric Mann) of Alma and Kimberly Noddin (David) of Bath, Maine.; his grandchildren, Zachary Mercer, Gabriel, Cainnin, Izaak Mann, Jessica Engen and Alyssa Cleasby; his great grandchildren, Anna Grace Schwartz, Azic and Alec Lemanski; and his girlfriend Kathy Mercer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home- Mondovi (465 W Main St, Mondovi, WI 54755). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home (465 W Main St, Mondovi, WI 54755).
