Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Welter and Lilah Welter (Best); his stepfather Pinky Miller; his in-laws, Elwood and Leona Dahl; and his nephew Daryl Dahl.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Welter; his daughter Laurie Burgess (Tim); and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Basley (Jacob Lawrence) and Jocelin Burgess. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
