He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Greving and Loretta Greving (Klocke); his parents-in-law, Edward and Kay Copeland; his grandson Tyler Schmitz; his brothers, Harold and Norbert Greving; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Greving and Paul Beke.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri; his children, Kevin Purcell, Kirk Purcell (Marcie), Anne Zenner (Glenn), Lori Pearson (Don), Robert Purcell (Kristine) and Paula Schmitz (Michael); his siblings, Leon Greving, Sister Anthony Marie Greving, Leonard Greving (Mary), Marvin Greving (Linda), Arthur Greving (Linda), James Greving (Roberta), Joan Gutzwiller (Tony), Brian Greving (Angie), Rose Ann Beke, Louise Hamerle (Steve), Therese Sibbel (Tom) and David Greving (Margie); his sisters-in-law, Joanne and Marge Greving; his caregivers, Keith and Joyce; and his granddaughter-in-law Paige. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
