He is survived by: his parents, Robert Schmidt and Luanne Kozlowski; his stepfather Paul Kozlowski; his significant other Catherine Johnson; his daughter Ashley Maples; and his siblings, Brittany Schmidt, John Schmidt (Adrienne), Kevin Kozlowski (Kati) and Michael Kozlowski. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.
