He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Bud" Fisher and Helen Fisher (Kale); and his wife Nancy Fisher. He is survived by: his children, Patti VanDyke (Aaron), John Fisher (Miriam), Joel Fisher (Nikki) and Craig Fisher; his stepsons, Michael McMahon (Jennifer) and Scott McMahon (Mary); his grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer), Megan, Lauren, Samantha, Tiffani, Hope, Josh (Meghan), Jack, Bodi, Henry, Devin, Harrison and Adriana; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Owen, Ivy, Lucas and Chase; and the mother of his children Martha Baerwald.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in John's name to Fisher House - Milwaukee, WI.
