She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Messerschmidt and Margaret Messerschmidt (Bensen); her siblings, Clifford, Arnold, George and Eileen Rogers; and her children, James Kennedy and Debra Larrabee.

She is survived by : her sons, John Kennedy (Rita) and Dan Roberts (Rachel); her son-in-law Norm Larrabee; her niece Tonita Cox; and her friend Rose Ellestad. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Sunset Park Rec Center (200 Devendorf St, Elkhorn, WI 53121).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family in care of Dan Roberts, 644 Greenfield St. Elkhorn, WI 53121. A donation to a Local Horse rescue will be made in her name.
