She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Hawkey and Gertrude Hawkey (York); her son Glenn Canales; and her brothers, Phill and Les Hawkey.
She is survived by: her son Bryan Canales (Tracy Heim); her brother Geoff Hawkey (Susan); and her granddaughters, Lisa Jenkins and Kelly Laurin.
