With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard W. Ure of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard W. Ure to pay them a last tribute.

Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ure and Jennie Ure (Loncki); and his wife Jan (Nelson). He is survived by: his children, David Ure (Maria) of Huntley, IL, Mark Ure (Paula) of Palatine, IL, Dean Ure (Mary) of Paola, KS and Jill Kosirog (Kenneth) of Burlington, WI; and his brother Robert Ure (Jean). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
