He is survived by: his wife Christine Kot; his children, Debbie Frazier (Jeff), Chris Messerschmidt (Redd) and Ed Zapolsky (Heather); and his grandchildren, Ashly Frazier, Kaitlyn Frazier, Kali Frazier, Gabriella Zapolsky, Anthony Zapolsky, Layla Zapolsky, Stan Messerschmidt and Izzy Messerschmidt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wayne's name to Tunnels to Towers 5775 Wayzata Boulevard Suit 700 St. Louis Park, MN 55416 or a food donation can be made in his honor to the Elkhorn Food Pantry.
