He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Leonard and Emily Leonard (Marker); and his brothers, Duwayne, Gaylen, Harold and Jake Leonard.

He is survived by : his wife Janice Marie Schmelzer; his children, Dick (Lori), Julie McIntosh (Steve) and Joe (Tammy); his grandchildren, Levi, Logan, Ali, Cody, Collin, Adrian, Cole, Abby, Gavin and Liam; his great grandchildren, Kylie, Keira, Ila, Kamille, Adelia, Elizabeth and Kasen; and his brothers, Ronald (Peg) and Mike (Terri). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
