He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Langer and Anne Langer (Hammes); and his siblings, Melvin Langer, Joseph Langer (Karen), David Langer, Steven Langer (Sandy), Michael Langer (Angie), Anthony Langer (Karin), Vincent Langer, Marvin, Robert, Ramona BelleIsle, Cletus BelleIsle, Gail Langer and Jim Quaderer.

He is survived by : his former life partner Frances Demulling; his wife Marilyn Schmidt Cichy; his children, Cheryl Beseler of Dresser, Dennis Langer (Margo) of Osceola, Theresa (Tom Ett) of St Paul, MN, Ruth Anderson (Dean) of Stillwater, Brenda Sjerven (Gary) of McGrath, MN and Lynne Langer of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Bryan, Amanda (Kevin), Preston, Brady, Alli, Quincy, Connor (Nikki), Aaron (Abigail) and Faith (Jack); and his sisters, Maryanne Quaderer, Bernadette Brom and Anne Marie Abrahamson (Brian). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
