He is survived by: his wife Susan Borst; his daughters, Marinda Nelson (Dan Shockley), Emily Flaker (Daniel) and Raychel Ptacek (Jesse); his grandchildren, Mason, Madelyn, Evelyn Flaker, Milly, Theodore and Nelson Ptacek; and his siblings, Nona VanWinkle (Wilber) and Clint Nelson (Patricia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
