He was predeceased by : his mother Rita Mathis Sr. (Rogowski); his son Jake; and his father-in-law Doug Hinzman. He is survived by : his wife Heather Hinzman; his children, Chandler, Malerie and Bobby Mathis; his siblings, Theresa Cornish (Bob) and Tim Mathis (Nichole); his mother-in-law Kathy Hinzman; and his brother-in-law Ryan Hinzman (Lindsay). He is also survived by 7 nephews; many other relatives and friends.
