He is survived by : his wife Alvina Nelson; his children, Brian Girdeen (Denice), Tammy Girdeen (Larry Caturia), Randy Girdeen, Mike Girdeen (Holly), Kurt Girdeen (Steph Wright) and Troy Girdeen (Penny); his grandchildren, Mark (Anne), Jeff (Gina), Kayleen (Lance), Pete, Ross (Shelly), Quinn, Presley, Adam (Ta'Ja), Matthew, Charles (Kate), Benjamin, Eli, Kallie, Mike, Steph and Joe; his great grandchildren, Eva, Otto, Blake, Kaitlin, Connor and Celia; and his brother Jim Girdeen (Debbie).
