She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Luy and Grace Luy (Boeder); her siblings, Patricia Boedecker, Richard Luy and Janet McCarthy; and her significant other Lyle Thompson.
She is survived by: her sister Ellen Lutzke. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Elm Grove Lutheran Church (945 Terrace Dr, Elm Grove, WI 53122). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Elm Grove Lutheran Church appreciated.
