She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Thompson and Esther Thompson (Preuss); her husband John W. Hyer; and her siblings, Phyllis Daleo, Alice Moseman and Melvin Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Hyer (Linda) of Sheboygan, Brenda Fellenz (Mark) of Marshfield and Susan Milner (Keith) of Shawano; her grandchildren, Tim (Eliza), Andrew (Tahnya), Kirsten (Barron), Ben (Andrea), Jeff (Amy), Heidi (Erik) and Nathan (Sadie); her great grandchildren, Ana, Asa, Ivan, Moses, Emery, Oliver, Fitz and Cameron; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Hehenberger and Carol Hyer.
