We announce the death of Mae Eggert of Embarrass, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 103. Mae will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Siebert and Erna Siebert (Dumke); her husband Verr A. Eggert; her son-in-law Dan Van Dyke; and her siblings, Dorothy Eggert (Lee) and Al Siebert (Patsy).
She is survived by: her children, David Eggert (Sue), Shirley Van Dyke, Jerry Eggert (Sue Fletcher), Rande Eggert (Patsy) and Steven Eggert (Linda); her grandchildren, Shelli Roovers, Woody Eggert, Bobbie Visocky and Linsey Popp (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Alison (Brett), Jake (Claire), Brayden, Megan (Michael), Molly, Caleb and Calvin; her great great grandchildren, Trey, Dominick, Griffin and Layne; and her nieces, Allison Peters (Dennis) and Susan Onesti (Ray).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (118 Church St, Embarrass, WI 54933). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (118 Church St, Embarrass, WI 54933).
