He is survived by: his wife Cindy Kurtz; his children, Michael (John) and Erica; his siblings, Ingrid Markland, Kim Holman, Richard Klade and Sandy Meyers; his mother-in-law Marlene Kurtz; his sister-in-law Bonnie Staven (Chris); and his niece Kari Herrera.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ryan Funeral Home (2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
