He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ronning and Julia Ronning (Tollefson); and his siblings, Orvis, Curtis, Lloyd Ronning (Eunice), Mildred Schoolcraft (James) and Judith Smikrud (Orville).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Johnson of Ettrick; his children, Keith Ronning (Cristine) of Galesville and Tricia Ronning (Daryl Hjornevik) of Hixton; his grandchildren, Kara Pyka (Erik), Hunter (Jenna Johnson) and Hayden Hjornevik; his great grandchildren, Emree and Ender Pyka; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Ronning and Janice Ronning. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Game Time Park (23020 N Main St, Ettrick, WI 54627).
