He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Whitmore and Jane Whitmore; his wife Diane; his in-laws, Remi and Grace Cromheecke; his brother William Whitmore; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Kinast, Sr. and Thomas Cromheecke.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Whitmore (Deb), Cindy Runaas (Jon), Brenda Rohloff (Joe), Dan Whitmore, Jill Whitmore Bradley and Sara Hurley (Steve); and his sister Ann Kinast. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
