He is survived by: his mother Marilyn Shoemaker; his wife Diana Shoemaker; his children, Phillip Shoemaker and Michele Bitter; his grandson William Zirn; his siblings, Anthony Shoemaker (Jennifer), Brent Shoemaker (Renae) and Rebecca Johnson (Duane); his sister-in-law Julie Shoemaker; and his friends, Julie and Hien Tran.
