He was predeceased by : his parents, Woodrow Wickersham and Arlene Wickersham (Campbell); his in-laws, Ruth and Ruben Borchert; his brothers, Thomas and Larry Wickersham; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Wickersham and Marian Helgestad (Les).

He is survived by : his wife Donna Borchert; his daughters, Vicki Haske (John), Teresa Gross (William) and Wendy Mory (Pete); his grandchildren, Carla Petterson (Mike), Joseph Haske, Stephanie Write (Joshua), Tristan Gross, Nicollette Gross and Markas Mory; his great grandchildren, Everhett and Wilder; his brothers, David and Anthony Wickersham; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Borchert (Wendy), Elaine, Georgia Wickersham and Ellen Allston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lyle's name to St. John's Lutheran Church, Evansville.
