She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Parkos and Vivian Parkos (Bowers); her grandsons, Alex and Michael Gard; her siblings, Patty Johnston, Nancy Goldthorpe, Bert Parkos, Gary Parkos and Ronnie Parkos; and her siblings-in-law, Chuckie Parkos, John Goldthorpe, Gilbert "Gilly" Bloom and Bracken Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Emerson "Emerson" Gard; her sons, Greg Gard (Lisa Halpin) and Gary Gard (Linda); her grandchildren, Ava Gard (Jeremy Moffatt), Megan Rollins (Kris), Owen Ringhand (Taylor), Emily Maurer (Kyle) and Sam McBride (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Beau Rollins, Brooks Rollins, Granger Ringhand, Oscar Ringhand, Mya Maurer, Myles Maurer, Lucas McBride and Connor McBride; her siblings, Shirley Ayers (Keith), Roger Parkos (Nancy) and Linda Bloom; and her sister-in-law Jenny Parkos. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Memorial contributions will be donated to a local charity or group to be determined at a later date.
