He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Veness and Eileen Veness; his brother Bob Veness (Diane); his brother-in-law Dick Schott; his nephew Rocke Baker; his sister Lila Baker (John); and his sister-in-law Donna Veness.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Chris Veness (Kathy) of Exeland, WI and Angie Veness (Mike Paul) of Birchwood, WI; his godchild Ryan Villiard of Exeland, WI; and his siblings, Kay Robarge of Murry, WI, Judy Schott of Murry, WI, Mike Veness of Exeland, WI, Dave Veness (Julie) of Exeland, WI and Bill Veness (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Exeland United Methodist Church (986 N Lincoln Ave, Exeland, WI 54835).
