He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Vogel (Dale) and Rudy Vogel; his stepmother Hazel Vogel (Howell); his grandparents, Alfred and Lydia Dale; his siblings, Judy Winkers (Jim) and Dean Vogel; and his siblings-in-law, Brad Scott (Margie), Gordon Scott (Violet) and Elizabeth Wegmann (Joe).
He is survived by: his wife Alice Scott; his children, Carol Johnson (Steve Walczak) of Philadelphia, PA, David Vogel (JoAnn) of Fennimore and Cari Ostberg (Stephen) of Fairfield, MT; his grandchildren, Kurt Vogel (Laura) of Hudson, WI, Crystal French (Michael) of Dubuque, IA, Luke Ostberg (Amy) of Florissant, MO and Shea Ostberg of Helena, MT; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Derek Vogel of Hudson, WI; Stephanie Knapp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fennimore United Methodist Church (1450 2nd St, Fennimore, WI 53809). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Marsden Park, Fennimore United Methodist Church, or Agrace Hospice Care.
