Nelson (Fennimore, Wisconsin), born in Flandreau, South Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Ron McNett Jr. of Monument, Colorado.. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Deb McNett, Jim Nelson (Renee) and Steve Nelson (Diana Wearing); his grandchildren, Jason McNett (Angie), Trisha Toland (Richard), Megan McNett (Eric Zeis), Jerica Henkel (Seth), Conner Nelson (Kaley), Brynlee Nelson and Braycee Nelson; and his siblings, Naomi Dorale, Robert Nelson, Richard Nelson and Janice Deal (Terry). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, a memorial fund will be established in Dave's name to support charities that were dear to his heart.
