She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Pettera and Gladys Pettera (Muender); her husband Roger Blackbourn; her son Tom "Rocky"; her daughter-in-law Donita "Blondie" Blackbourn; her sister Joan; and her brother-in-law Barry Dempsey.

She is survived by: her children, Nick and Savannah; her friends, Mary Briehl and Elsie Klaas; her son Mark Blackbourn (Jan) of Cashton; her grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Adam Blackbourn, Marty O'Meara (Heidi), Corey O'Meara, Nick Blackbourn (Emily), Jay Blackbourn (Amanda), Garrick Olerud (Kassi), Collin Olerud (Natasha) and Alleck Olerud (Holly); her daughters-in-law, Kim Blackbourn and Jill Blackbourn of La Crosse; her niece Krista Fortman (Todd); and her nephew Gregg Dempsey (Stacie). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
